Semi-automatic Firing Pogo-Stick, Hasbro Toys
This was a prototype I developed during a push for concepts that focused on “Outdoor Play”.
Essentially it is a Pogo Stick that fires foam-balls, on command, from a 10-ball magazine.
Tools/Skills- Solidworks, Laser Cutter, 3-D Printer.
The Pogo stick functions as a typical pogo stick until a lever on the Handgrip is pulled to engage the Load/Fire sequence.
Once the Load/Fire sequence is engaged, the Pogo Stick will fire a foam ball on the Compression stroke.
Fire distances are approximately 15 ft.
On the Rebound stroke, the Pogo will then automatically advance a round into the firing chamber.
The "Fire" and "Load" sequences are powered by a rack-and-pinion system driven from the Compression/Rebound stroke of the Pogo.
