Mountain Bike Helmet, Bell Helmets
The Bell Super DH was designed to address the needs of riders looking for the comfort, minimal weight and breathability of a trail helmet in a full-face, DH-certified package.
To achieve this, we combined the removable-chinbar feature of the Bell Super 2R with the styling and strength of the World Cup DH, Bell Full 9.

Spherical MIPS
To meet and exceed the CPSC DH specification, we completely rethought our approach to traditional MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). We created a composite-material, ball-and-socket system we call "Spherical" MIPS.
The inner layer of the Helmet is constructed from EPP foam, a more resilient foam typically used in multi-impact Skateboard helmets.
The outer layer is a typical higher-density EPS foam and Polycarbonate Shell construction.
